Over at Chicago Shakespeare, we publish our production, event, etc. photo galleries by first uploading them to our facebook account, and then pull them from facebook onto our eRube site via an API. We have noticed, however, that older galleries are not pulling to our site. Digging into this further, at any time, the max number of 'active' galleries we are able to pull to our site is an even 150, by most recent. Which means for every new album we publish, an older album gets bumped off our site. The gallery thumbnail still exists on the site (since we upload this on the web-level), but when you click on it an empty light box pops up.
In speaking to our web partners, they have determined the issue is on facebook's end.
I was wondering:
Thank you in advance!

Hi Abigail
We also use eRube & L2 Interactive.
We ran into this issue with facebook feed limits last year.
The "publish once" idea was good, in theory, I think, way back when, but we've found that relying on third party publishing tools has increased, rather than decreased risk.
We've moved image galleries back to being hosted locally on site, and yes, that means that we build them twice, but it also means that we're including platform-specific messaging (e.g. not linking back to our website from our website, just because that's in the facebook caption).
Hope that helps.
