When people join our CRM, there are 3 options for contact preferences - Yes to e/mail, No to e/mail and Not Asked.
Are we still allowed to email those who have Not Asked in their record? I'm not sure what the data protection rules are at the moment.

In the UK (which I believe is where you are based) you cannot email contacts without an opt-in. Here's a good guide on the rules both in Europe and the US:
