Marketing Associate Position at Jacob Burns Film Center

The Jacob Burns Film Center in Westchester County, NY seeks a full time Marketing Associate to become part of a dynamic team responsible for maximizing our visibility to the general public across all media platforms, both digital and traditional.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving attendance to our films/events and enrollment in our education programs through all channels: social media, e-newsletter, website, brochures, in-theater slides, press releases, and more.
  • Writing, editing, and distributing publicity to the media including, but not limited to, newsreleases, photo captions, and calendar entries.
  • Developing and implementing all digital advertising including Facebook ads and Google AdWords.
  • Liaising with the out of house JBFC digital agency on project-based initiatives and campaigns.
  • Working with other members of the department to track and analyze results from online marketing and advertising projects ranging from SEO to social media marketing.
  • Monitoring and updating as needed the online profile of the organization on Google, Yelp, etc.
  • Managing the JBFC blog, including writing blog posts as well as assigning and editing blog posts from others.
  • Ensuring consistent tagging and branding of JBFC videos posted on YouTube, Vimeo.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with local groups and community leaders to help extend JBFC outreach and audience development efforts.
  • Other duties as needed or required.
