Best in Show: Seat Maps

We are making some much needed updates to our website and want to have more photos to provide patrons more views from their seat in order to lessen the anxiety of ticket buying.

What organizations are trailblazing these images?  What are you doing to your stage?  Are you uplighting your grand curtain?  Are you receiving approval to photograph a set in the space?

We have a pretty good idea of what we want to do, but we're definitely wanting to collect some additional opinions/ideas.

Thanks for your input!

  • Check out Made Media’s new Seat Curve product. https://made.media/  Not a ton of info about it on their website, so you would have to reach out to them, they have a one sheeter they can send you.

It was shown at the conference in the Tech general session with Chuck Reif and Kristin Darrow – which for the general sessions they usually put up for online streaming (I don’t see it there now, but maybe soon?  Or maybe they won’t put it up because of intellectual property issues???) – Kristin showed a bunch of different seating chart things.

As far as Made’s product goes, you can purchase it separately whether or not you use Made for your website integration. To see it in action check out the Hollywood Bowl’s site.

    Good luck!
