Hi - we are about to kick off web development to setup our site to handle Tessitura's pricing rules and messages. We are doing an audit now of all existing rules we have and ones we have wanted to do in the past but were limited by the web capabilities. We've found most of our list is discounts and promotions. But the capabilities of this Tessitura feature seems to go way beyond that and I'm wondering if people would be willing to share other ways you're using pricing rules for upsells or even just informational messages, really things that don't involve a discount?
Thanks!

Hello, Charles -
Center Theatre Group has been doing Parking Reminders when the Music Center Campus has more than 2 performances going on at the same time. We set the message rule up to work on our website so that once a patron puts that particular performance in their cart the message pops up at the top of their shopping cart.We also have a special case with our run of Jersey Boys' National Tour. We have a celebrity performing for most, but not all, performances, so we've added a messaging rule for our shopping cart confirming or not confirming the scheduled appearance in the role - along with a schedule elsewhere of the celebrity's performances.
If you want to take a look at that feature we've insalled on our site, you can go to www.CenterTheatreGroup.org and go through the process of reserving tickets for Jeresey Boys.
