Communications Management in Bulk?

Communications Management. Cool. Awesome. Love the details...But can the application preferences be done on-mass? I feel like it should be something that can be done but...I don't see how to do it anywhere. And I can't find any details on the boards.

Example: We have a list of people who want Enews. But it's a long list and we don't want to go to every account and do it by. We want to "Grandfather" in people instead of making them log in and set up their own settings.
