Mail 2 Autoresponder emails

Hello!

I am new to Mail2 and am looking for ideas on using the auto responder emails and utilizing Tessitura. I would like to send an auto responder email to patrons who purchase a ticket to a specific performance, to suggest a purchase to a pre-show event. I have gone through the process of creating an autoresponder email, but I can't seem to set up the trigger of the performance ticket purchase. Does anyone know if this is possible? Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

  • Melanie,

I agree with LeeAnn - a custom view coupled with a scheduled campaign is the way to go.  We do this all the time to send pre-performance emails 2 days before the person is due to attend which acts as both a reminder and "more info".  We have also done this to send an email 2 days after attending the performance directing them to a post show survey (also in mail2).

There's no reason the logic of the custom view couldn't be based on the transaction date (and product) rather than the performance date.

I'm sure your DBA can easily do this for you - happy to provide an example as a starter.  If you don't have a DBA I can knock something together for you.  Are you on RAMP?

Feel free to email me directly martin.keen@nida.edu.au
