Mail 2 Autoresponder emails

Hello!

I am new to Mail2 and am looking for ideas on using the auto responder emails and utilizing Tessitura. I would like to send an auto responder email to patrons who purchase a ticket to a specific performance, to suggest a purchase to a pre-show event. I have gone through the process of creating an autoresponder email, but I can't seem to set up the trigger of the performance ticket purchase. Does anyone know if this is possible? Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Melanie

  • I don't believe what you want to do is "baked'in" to mail2, but I think it can be done. They have an option where you send a scheduled campaign to a custom-view. You need to get someone on your staff to write that view and then you hook it up that way. Mail2 used to offer the service of writing the views but last time I asked they said they don't do that anymore. If you have a DBA on staff though, it should be something they can do for you. I have only done this once and it was to send to people who made a contribution to a particular fund the day before, a special thanks. It will take some trial and error though and testing, testing, testing.
