I'm looking for some insights or guides on using conditional variables to automatically customize a patron's purchase confirmation email based on constituent parameters and purchase details.
My organization is interested in including specific language exclusively for donors of various levels, and not including that information for the standard email purchase confirmation.
We also are interested in including information based on the shipping method selected during purchase.
We're also interested in having some of these conditional language element expire after a period of time for the holidays or other event specific information.
Has anyone done this level of granular email management for purchase confirmations generated by Tess? We're using Tess with TNEW.

Have you taken a look at the LTR_TNEW_DYN_EMAIL_CONTENT System Table? I haven't managed to have a full play with this yet, but was able to change 'Thank you for your order' to a 'Thank you for becoming a member' type thing as a start to customising this for different customers.
