Hello everyone,
This week, mail2 confirmed what I consider a major bug when using the Tessitura Integration - Import feature. We use the Tessitura Integration Import feature when pulling a custom Tessitura list to deploy an email (TBs of X show). When importing, we use the "Mail2 List to Create or Associate With" option to ensure these users are opted-in to the system and list. We don't send them an email if they are not opted-in. What I found was that mail2 was importing all contacts and opting them into the list selected regardless if they existed or were opted-in.
Below is email I sent them and later confirmed my mail2 that this is occurring. I would recommend you do a test with a small list like I did to see if the same is happening .
--------------------------
The following was noticed a few months ago after running some tests on the system. Today this was confirmed. Please take a look at the following step-by-step and data:
1) Pulled a list of 5 constituents from Tessitura that are Ticket Buyers of a Theatre show.
2) Imported list using the following values (See Screenshot attached)
Pre and Post Mail2 Import
EMAIL (masked for privacy)
SUBSCRIBED IN MAIL2 (theater list)
Pre Import
Post Import
pXsXoXt@XXX.com
YES
mXxXotXfrXd@XXX.com
mXXXally@XXX.com
NO
bXXX3@XXX.com
lcXXll@XXX.com
Thought I would share this with the network in case this is happening to some of you.
