Has anyone noticed that if you have a press entry for say "The New York Post" that if you do a search for "New York Post" it will not come up? Why is it that even though every other character matches, without the "the" the search is not a match? Does anyone know a way around it other than the wildcard symbol because I am not interested in entering a % every time I do any search.
Hi Christina – the search function does not anticipate a “the” at the front of the search string. However, try searching “%New York Post”. The “%” character is a wildcard. It is assumed at the END of any string you search in constituent search but must be explicitly placed if you want to search for strings with unknown characters at the beginning.

A great habit to get into is to add an alias every time you have an account like this. For the New York Post, I’d create at least “New York Post” and “Post.”
