Hi all,
Would anyone know how to put a time limit on promotion codes to be sent out to consumers? We would like to send out birthday promo codes to our customers but have them only active for the month of the birthday. So say for the month of March, the promo code would be inactive on April 1.
Please let me know if anyone has any knowledge in this and how to go about it in Tessitura.
Thanks
Julie
Hi Julie,
When you create your promo code, just set the end date to the date you want. I assume you'll be creating new promo codes each month for those who have a birthday in that month, so just set the start and end dates on each promotion code.
Michele
Thanks Christopher and Michele,
Another question, is there a way to make it one time use only for each promo code made? So the person receiving it can only use it one time?
Thanks again!
If it is a solicited offer, then it can only be redeemed one time on the web. This can be overridden through another mode of sale though.
Thanks for all the help!
A few questions:
Do you know if you can attach a set of emails to the promo code assigned in Tess so only those people are allowed to use the promo code?
When you refer to a "solicited offer," what is this type of offer in Tessitura? A promotion code?
You would create a list manager list of your contacts and promote that list or you can create an extraction and once extracted it will create the promo code.
You should likely check out the documentation on this:

Thanks Michele!
