Has anyone else run into this issue?
Marketing creates inside sources when running extractions for specific promotions.
However, we just discovered that our box office CSRs can’t see the Inside Source list.
We’re giving them the source code and they’re having to apply it manually per order.
They can see the Outside list just fine.

The inside source list is called Promotions. When you open the source window it defaults to the list of promotions, but if you haven’t selected a constituent for the order yet the list will be blank. To see inside sources (promotions) you have to select a constituent first. Then you get a list of all the in house sources that have been promoted to that constituent.
Also, the concept behind in house sources is that they should only get used for the constituents they were promoted to. So if you do select a constituent and a particular in house source is not on the list of promotions, you shouldn’t use the source for that constituent. The reason you promote sources is so that on a constituent by constituent basis you can see the marketing contacts you’ve had and not have to sort through a much longer list of outside, general sources that may not even apply to that constituent.
