custom output set element

I don't think it's possible to restrict the output set to the parameters of the list you pulled (although I would LOVE to be proven wrong on that one!) but if you're simply looking for performances within a time period you could create custom output set elements that have date range parameters attached.

I've created customizations that we use with Wordfly that sound a lot like what you seek. Starting with a custom SQL view of patrons attending within a date range, we use that with a dynamic list, and custom output set elements, for use with the WF triggered perf reminder e-mails.
