Capturing information specific to the Email address - anyone doing it?

We are trying to use some "Year of Birth" marketing programs in combination with the email addresses provided by members of the constituents’ family.  Our struggle is around how to attach information such as 'year of birth', 'gender', etc. to the email addresses provided on the constituent account.

Has anyone come up with a clever solution to this?

We have contemplated multiple constituent IDs, but then we run up against duplicating our marketing efforts to the same address.

Just curious if anyone has gone down this path and come up with ideas...

Thanks!

  • No were not but ...

how about using e--address start date to record birthdate and email type for gender.  Thus get 'Male email type' and start date of '28/09/%%%%' and send e-card with fire trucks.

As the email has a created date the start date would not be used unless people have seasonal emails??

email purpose could also be used for gender

But wouldnt you want to know the name of the family member (can this come from salutation types)

    just musing...
