Hello,
This is my first time extracting constituents to a file in order to create source codes for each inclusion segment. I made sure to check both the "generate source codes" box and the "create promotions now" box before extracting, but after the process is complete, my source codes show up under the appeal but are not promoted.
I tried promoting them through the Create Promotions Report and through the Appeal Details screen but couldn't get any results from either.
Am I missing something? Or is there another way to assign source codes to inclusion segments other than extracting to a file?
We are using Version 11

Hi Jenny,
It sounds like you are doing everything correctly and it is time to send in a help ticket.
Does the Extraction log say that it created the promotions? You can check this by looking for entries where the Process Segment column says CREATE PROMO. Normally there is one of these entries with a comment that says, "Done Inserting. Inserted <number> T_PROMOTION rows".
