Hi everyone - We would like to expand our thinking with regard to Telesales/Telefunding lead generation. Some questions to get the ball rolling...
How do you utilize Tessitura to generate leads?
What processes do you have in place for generating leads?
How do you determine what customers you are targeting?
What process is in place to track call history/sales?
We would love to get some feedback from the community. Thanks!
Hi Steven,
See my responses below each question.
Hope this helps-

I used extraction manager to extract what type of patrons I want our Outbound staff to call on. For example, after the first play in our five play theatre season, I may extract all the single ticket buyers of that first play, so the staff can call on them to see if they would like to purchase a four play subscription at a reduced rate.
Once I extract the patrons I save it to a list and spot check it. I sometimes, at this point, manually delete some records that I may have not wanted to include.
I can then re save the list and print it out via a custom report that was built for McCarter. It has the PID, the first and last name and contact phone numbers. I try to print it out double sided to save paper, and print it out on color paper to signify the different campaigns. The hard copies work best for our processes.
Via extraction manager. Utilizing price types and performance codes. As well as maybe zip code and Constituencies--whatever I need. I also use this to suppress anyone we DON'T want to call (Flagged as "no telemarket", trustees, etc)
We use a Custom Tab, and a custom radio button within that tab called "call log". There we can track the source (list), time of the call, user, outcome (no answer, call back, complete, etc), as well as a note section to record details of the conversation.
Our outbound staff processes their sales in a specific MOS called "Outbound", this way these orders can be tracked as well as paid commission on. In addition we can restrict access to only events we want the Outbound office to sell (ie - we do not give them access to Student Matinee performances).
