Is there anyone out there with an SMS program running that are using some kind of software that integrates with Tessitura? We are interested in SMS but have been unhappy with the platforms we have used in the past, low ROI, etc. Any insight any of you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We're looking at starting to use this functionality too but a bit concerned about address management etc. Please could you let me know how you're pulling the mobile numbers and how they're being stored in your set up. I.e. using a mobile field on the address page, and with/without spaces etc?

When I say we are in the process of trying to start using it, I mean that we are basically at the same stage as you are. We are currently working through which fields we'll store mobile numbers, how to convert the mobile numbers we have in to international format, getting data preferences to include text messaging etc.
We haven't got too far down the line, but for LeeAnn I was just pointing out that Wordfly offer this functionality as an integrated software with Tessitura.

Thanks, gentlemen. We have a texting software that we have used in the past that a sponsor has made available to us, but since it doesn't integrate with Tessitura it's been pretty useless for us. I'll be interested to hear your experience once you have your programs up and rolling. ExactTarget has an e-mail marketing platform that also handles SMS and if you want to pay for custom integration, you can. They got so expensive though that we switched to mail2 years ago. I wish the mail2 guys would start doing SMS as well so we could have it all housed in one place.
