Offers / Source Codes

We are just getting into using Offers here, and we tend to use the price types regularly so I would generally want to end them by cutting off the source code on the date I want those to end.  What I would like to know is if there is a way to end the source code at a specific time on the date desired rather than just end of day if I wanted to end the offer say at 5:00 PM.  Since I want the price types to remain active for other purposes, I wouldn't want to set the time there, but as far as I can tell, there is no way to enter in a time for the source code to end.  Any other ideas regarding a solution to this problem are of course more than welcome.  Though I would like to try to avoid solutions that involve flipping MOS (and honestly I cannot currently think of one using that method anyway).

Thanks!

  • When you are selecting the date to end the offer, if you continue looking at that line, you can also adjust the time. You can also set the offer to end a certain amount of time before curtain as well.

    John,

I don’t know if I misunderstand what you are asking but in the source set up under Campaigns – Appeals – Sources tab, you can put a specific time for the source to end along with the date.  We use this all the time.  If you click the date field and use your arrow keys to move to the right, you’ll see the timestamp field after the date.

  • Teresa,

That is exactly the function for which I was looking!  I never thought to try that.  Thanks a ton!
