Tessitura and Sage 100

Does anyone use Sage 100 Accounting software with Tessitura?  I understand there is a way to get them to communicate with each other.  Can someone explain how that works?  Right now, I enter contributions into Tessitura, print out a batch report, which I give to the Accounting clerk, who enters them into the Accounting software.  I believe there should be a better way to do that.  I read something on here about importing journal entries into Sage via Excel.  Can anyone explain how that might work?

Thank you!!!

I would also be interested if anyone has figured out a way to do this same thing in Microsoft Great Plains Software?

We utilize project accounting so the entry to quiet long and tedious to input.  .

    Thanks,
