Dear Friends of Finance,
I am putting together a roundtable discussion at the upcoming Tessitura Conference and I need some help.
The topic is Cash Flow and I need someone to be the guru or subject matter expert.
The guru and I would meet via phone once or twice prior to the conference to discuss possible topics and how we are going to run the session. During the actual session at the conference, the guru would be in the room to field any questions the crowd might not be able to answer on their own. I will be co-moderating the session with a Tessitura staff member.
Here's a description of the session:
"In the non-profit world it can be a challenge to balance income with expenses on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Being able to predict your organization’s income weeks or months in advance can help but, like predicting the weather, it can be a bit tricky. If you work in finance or a revenue-generating department such as development or marketing, it is likely you have had to deal with cash flow reporting and projections. Join us to share ideas, reports, and other tools. Together we can come up with ways to forecast better than your local weather man."
