My finance person needs a report by batch number that shows when it was posted. Ideally, it would include
Batch number batch type create date amount posting number posting date
Is there a canned report that gives this information? All we can find are reports that start with the posting number – we need it to start with the batch number.

Have you considered using Tools > Batch Administrator? You would need to play around with permissions, but if you can findsomething that you are comfortable with all that information is available in the header and transaction tab once you drill down into a batch.
