Our organization is in the process of migrating to TS as a CRM. The Finance team is trying to determine how best to approach funds/gl set up. We use Blackbaud FE for General Ledger. All financial transactions consist of gl number (fund, functional account code, team) and project code. We also use grant codes in the GL system. As we migrate to TS, we will also begin transitioning to an internal accrual accounting system.
We have seen best practices per TS/consultants and are very much interested in also learning from other user’s experiences and best practices.

Hi, Ella! I see it's been a long time since you posted this question. Did you ever find any answers, and how did you end up setting up your process? We also use GL & project coding, but, I think our process could be refined, so I'm curious about this topic as well.
