I have an issue with several performances where the Ticket Sales by Period and the Payments by Performance are matching but show a higher dollar figure than the Performance Sales Summary by PT Category. ANY clues as to where to start looking or what might be causing the difference?
Ryan is right, that’s a pretty helpful slide (even for me).
A couple of related notes. On that slide the Daily Sales Report that is referenced has been replaced by the Ticket Sales by Period report, though they function in the same way.
And you may have noticed this on the slide, but in case you didn’t, the Performance Sales Summary by PT Category report does not include unseated amounts while the other reports you mentioned do. That could be the difference for you.
One other possible cause. The Performance Sales Summary by PT Category report only counts sales using the original 5 price type categories. If you have added any new ones, sales using those price type categories will not be counted on the report.
