I am trying to help our Finance team do some reconciling of a specific GL. If I compare the Posting reports for a specific day vs a similar report created in Analytics (just pulling in the one specific GL I am looking at, no other filters), a few days of some differences, but I'm not exactly sure why that would be? Has anyone run into this before and figured it out?
We use the Posting Reports to plug numbers into our external accounting software, so I'm hoping that those are the more accurate numbers.

Hi Kari,
Like the Transaction by Posting and Performance Transaction Detail reports, the Finance cube in Analytics performs a look up on the GL History to get the GL at the time of posting. If you have changed the GL on transactions in a batch and then backdate the post to a date prior to the GL change, the Finance cube will reflect the old GL for transactions posted in the batch. The GL Summary Report and Posting Reports meanwhile will reflect the changed GL for transactions posted in the batch.
