Hi forum.
We are trying to set up a membership sold online with an monthly payment by creditcard.
At the moment it's set up as a contribution, but as I understand it, it's not possible to sell a contribution with a payment plan online.
Has anyone out there a similar set up with monthly payments? And how have you solved it online?

Hi Birgitte,
We have been actively promoting monthly giving for almost 2 years now. Please check out our pages to see how we set these up. Basically, we ask for the first payment, then for the donor to check mark a box that tells us to process their card monthly.

For ANY monthly option online related to memberships or donations, I still have to manually enter a pledge for that constituent and set up the payment plan. But this is how we have our website set up to allow monthly giving options.

Do you save the card information on the pledge or the constituent to be able to set up the pledge after the constituent has paid the first part of the donation?
