Has anyone used Tessitura to set-up monthly ACH draws directly from a donor's bank account? Is it even possible? We have a donor asking about this.
We do this, but it doesn't connect directly to Tessitura. We set it up like a monthly credit card, but instead of Credit Card, we have a Direct Deposit billing type. All the info about their bank account is done directly through our bank. On the 15th, I print out our bank confirmation and record all those gifts with a Direct Deposit payment type. I'd be happy to answer any set up questions you have. Check with your bank about a monthly billing/withdrawal system.

Thank you for your response. I was looking for a way to do this with Tessitura as our accounting software currently doesn't handle this. I'm sure we could probably manually process this kind of transaction through our bank, but was looking for an automated process to minimize or eliminate data entry errors. I'm actually, now, wondering why the donor doesn't just give us a debit card number as the end result would be the same.
If we decide to do this through manually through our bank, I may contact you just to understand the process a little bit more.
