This is probably an odd question but how can I find out where the revenue from donated tickets is moved to? Every donated ticket comes off our subscription revenue GL and I know how much $$ that is, but I have NO clue where that money is moved.
Any advice?
There are only so many places money can go in Tessitura, so a big part of this depends on what you mean by "Donated", since there isn't necessarily a canonical definition within Tessitura for this.
If: The ticket SLI is returned and the order is balanced by creating a contribution on the order for the same amount, see the GL assigned to the Fund being used (Campaigns/References/Funds).
If: The ticket SLI is returned and the order is balanced with a fee, see the GL assigned to the Fee (Ticketing Setup/Fees).
If: The ticket SLI is "Returned for Resale" (status RTB), no money is moved out of the ticket revenue GL, but if the seat is resold, the resale ticket's revenue will be assigned to the "Resold" GL in Ticketing Setup/Production Elements/Performance/Pricing/Price Type Properties.
If: The ticket SLI is returned and the balance is refunded to a "Donated Tickets" payment method, see the GL assigned to that payment method in Campaigns/References/Payment Methods.
