Hi, does anyone have a report they'd be willing to share (or have already done so) which exports journal entries from Tessitura batches/postings in a format that The Financial Edge (or other accounting software) can then import? We seem to remember someone at the conference having done this work but can't recall who it was; i can't find anything in Shared Reports on TASK. We'd love it if we didn't have to reinvent the wheel.

Michael - We created a sql script that pulled summary info and we import it into Financial Edge. Please contact me for more information.

Glad I came across this posting. We at Michigan Opera are going to Financial Edge and changing our GL Account number format.
I've written series of MS Access queries that seem to do a good job of translating our current GL Numbers to the new format.
Would be interesting to see the SQL you use - also - is there a complete list of all locations that GL_Numbers may lurk ?!
I know that in additions to the GL_Accounts table they turn up in Price types, Funds, Payment Methods, etc....
Last but not least - what was you cut-over scenario and how well did it work out ?
