tracing batches to postings

I’m sure I’m missing some obvious report somewhere, but what is the quickest way to find out where a particular batch was posted? That is, I know the batch number and I need the corresponding posting number. Surely there is an easy way to find this?

Thanks.

  • If you double click on the batch in the Batch Administrator, go to the Transactions tab and at bottom right there will be a #....., that's the posting number.

  • If you have access to the Batch Administrator and Batch Detail sections, search for the batch number, view the batch details and look at the bottom of the Transaction Tab.  The posting number is under the Date Posted field.
