Export to Financial Edge

We are new to Tessitura, converted from Blackbaud products. Our Finance Department is still using Financial Edge for bookkeeping.  I wonder if any organization on the Network established an export procedure to transfer data from Tessitura to Financial Edge? (All contribution and ticketing revenues). Thank you very much.

  • Dear Vanessa,

Thank you for reaching out. I got help from the team in Austin Theatre and found a way to export entries from Tess to FE using Plug-Ins. And also taking data from the Transactions by Posting report. It’s also not 100% automatic but it’s very convenient and easy.

I’d love to share the experience if you’d like. It’s very kind of you to check in.

Thank you very much and have a great weekend!.

    Joe

    Hi Joe,

Did you get an answer that worked for you?

We have an export procedure from Tessitura to FE, it's not 100% automatic.  We still do some manual work but we are able to export data out of Tessitura (using the Transactions by Posting report) to Excel, then filter, pivot, and format the data to upload into FE as a manual journal entry.

Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.  I'm happy to help!
