Royalty Reporting and Inconsistent Reports

I report on royalties weekly.  I use the Performance Sales Summary by Price Type Category in summary form to get my weekly totals.  That combines all fixed packages, CYO and Flex in one total, full price tickets in another, and other discounts in another, and seems to be the most reliable in terms of correct totals.  I also run the UD Event Price Type Detail report to get weekly totals by price type as a check and to pick out student groups which we report on separately.  It doesn’t always reconcile to the penny, but usually does.  You have to run it through the following day to get the range that you want.  I also run Payments by Performance to pickup credit card sales for deducting those fees.

Hi everyone:

We're struggling with Royalty reporting. I'm wondering what report others find useful? The Performance Sales Analysis works but our finance department struggles with it.  We have several "packages" (fixed and not) and a CYO option that utilizes specific SUB-CYO-Flex price types tied to the "Package" GL.

In the report the revenue shows as single ticket sales under that price type.  I understand Tessitura only separates "packages" and "single tickets" and we use price types to identify them further.  We finding we must manually add each day of the run by week and then frequently nothing reconciles to itself. Or, the reports aren't being understood and thus added up incorrectly.

We are a young organization in our second season.  If there are any pearls of Tessitura wisdom you could share or direct me to some of the reports you find work best we would be much appreciative!!!!
