How do you setup a detailed GL report? Does one already exist? We just finished our first production of the season and I am trying to figure out how much we sold in single tickets, full subscription and mini (choose your own) subscription for that production. When I try pulling other reports the totals are including the built in facility fee and some of the reports are including subscription tickets into singles. It could become really cumbersome to have to manipulate a report for every performance so I can get the numbers I need.

There is a 'GL Summary Report' in the Finance report folder. It has an option for detail.Have you tried that?
I know that the Detail option of that report gives you a posting number, date and dollar amount. What I need is a breakdown of my subscription GLs so I know how much money goes into each production. So for example, I have a mini subscription where you pick 3 shows. That money goes into the mini subscription GL 'bucket' and when the production has ended, I need to know how much money do I pull from that subscription bucket.
Sorry, I was just looking for something that broke out GLs for you.If you are looking to close a show out, there are so many factors that come into play that it is hard to say what will work for you. It all depends on how granular you get with your GLs, how you do your fees (layered vs via fee setup), etc. We use at least four different reports to close a show and about half of those are custom. I think the only supplied reports we use are Box Office Statement, Payments by Performance and maybe the GL Summary. I know we've gone to having some fees layered into prices lately which meant rewriting a lot of custom reports.

I think I'm coming to that conclusion as well, we have the fees layered into the price of the tickets so I think I will just have to pull different reports to compare. Thank you for your input though
