Income By Payment Method

Hoping a more seasoned user of Tessitura might be able to answer this question. I am comparing an income by payment method report to a transaction by posting report. The date parameters are the same on both reports but they are showing different amounts. Any idea why that is? Is it a timing issue with batches/posting reports?

Thanks,

Paul

    Hi Paul,

I've just compared this here, the reports show identical numbers for me with the exception of 'Transaction Type Description' of 'Payment', which appears in the Transaction by Posting Report but not the Income by Payment Method.

I get exact matches for Ticket Purchase, Gifts, Memberships & Fee Payments - but it doesn't look like 'Payments' are part of the Income by Payment Method report.  Maybe this is the difference for you also?

These reports should both run based on the dates that the action actually took place, so batch posting dates shouldn't have an impact.
