Auto-draft, ongoing donations

We have a few donors at our organization who do a different version of “direct debit.” They set up auto checks to be processed and written by their banks on a set frequency then mailed to our office. I then process them as a check from the donor.

According to the Contribution Entry documentation © 2012 at www.tessituranetwork.com “Recording a Direct Debit” account is only available for UK organizations.

Is anyone set up to receive ongoing monthly donations through auto draft? How does it tie to Tessitura? We are already doing auto-billing for credit cards but we'd like to option to offer monthly direct drafts as well. If you are doing this we would be very interested in hearing how you are doing with it both on the technical side and development side of it.
