Hello, we work in a consortium environment but this question goes out to all tracking/updating legislators and school contacts annually. We are looking for best practices and how your organization tracks and stays on top of updating government and school contacts.
As a reference, what we had been doing was assigning the updates once a year (all before the education program/art advocacy "season") to each consortium member on a rotating basis but timing, staff turnover, etc. has made it difficult to stay on top of it which leaves each organization back to manually verifying information outside of Tessitura. We also track in a number of areas which may be contributing to the amount of time it takes to update a record in a time efficient manner.
