Hi,
We would like to use Tessitura to record attendance (or maybe it's the no-shows we're interested in) to our various youth programmes. The sort where they pay for a term up-front so we would just want to put a tick or a cross against their name in a register each week.
As much as it would great to make use of the existing functionality and reporting in ticketing, it would be good to avoid having to set up seat maps and performances for each class in the term and then train the education staff to use the ticketing functions.
Does anyone have a custom fix for this scenario and where does it sit? With the workshop leader or with an 'Education' constituent? Could we make creative use of activities but just haven't thought of how?
Any suggestions are welcome!
Thanks, Suzanne
We struggle with the best way to track attendance for our classes as well. Let me know if you have found a solution.
One thing I am trying to implement into our system, is using Activities to track our in school workshop residencies and teacher workshops. We set up our Activity Type as 14 School Residency or 14 Teacher Workshop, then we can put the performance name, and mark the # of attendees.
It's at a very early stage, but we are considering scanning barcodes in a custom SSRS report to record volunteer usher attendance, and if that works out possibly class attendance and other applications as well via the same method.
