Hi there, everyone! My name is Katherine Tolbert, and I am the Community Engagement Manager for Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, MO. I’m dropping in with exciting news for all of us Tessitura users who specialize in education, community engagement, and audience development! Following TLCC 2022 and hearing from several colleagues that there just doesn’t seem to be a space for education and engagement practitioners to share ideas, successes, or concerns as other Tessitura users do, I reached out to the Tessitura team to inquire about creating an Education & Audience Development community group.
They’ve been awesome to work with and have agreed to create a new group just for us! All we need are one to two more individuals who would like to volunteer as co-chairs of the group to help welcome new members, facilitate conversations, and arrange meetup opportunities (likely virtual) during the year.
