Hi all, does anyone use Tessitura to schedule, book, and accept payment for tours, and have tips or tricks they can share? Bonus points if you're working with organizations/schools and have an easy way to handle those records and accept payment online with little manual work!
This is currently eating up a significant number staff hours at our museum. I'm a little surprised at the lack of optimization in the software. We previously used Explorable Places, which worked like a dream even though it could not give us many reports.

Hi! We have our School Programs (including tours) and Summer Camps that are set up for online registration. Teachers can log in to their member account or create a new account, pick their school, then pick their program. The order gets moves to live in the school's account, but the teacher stays as an initiator on the order so we can see it in their account too. We let them pay online when they book or pay later by calling us. They can fully book without ever having to talk to us! Our websales is hosted by Jixaw and not TNew.
This is exactly what we would like to do. I'd love more information about the backend set-up if you're willing to share. I'm glad to see someone has figured it out!
