We are offering a 'Summer camp' class in July. The last time we offered it, we 'sold' the registration fee through TNEW as a ticket with a link, in the email confirmation, to a Google doc to collect pertinent info on the attendees.
I would like to bring that doc into Tessitura, so the data is added to constituent records, for historical info. and report on the data, for the daily operations of the camp. We looked at a survey but found it is available to all on line ticket buyers, we want only class attendees to have access to this doc. otherwise we will confuse all other ticket buyers. We also looked at check out questions, but don't know how to report on the CSI's (that are created to bring the info into Tess.) in a format that the Ed Dept can use.
I imagine other organizations have set this up- Any suggestions, tips are greatly appreciated!

If you have your Summer Camp as a performance CSIs might be the best route. We have a scheduled report that goes out to our Education department with CSIs marked as open. They review the CSIs in Tessitura, then import the data to their own rosters, and close the CSI once they are done with that registration. Our organization has all of our programs set up with CSIs to collect info from parents and so far it has been working fine.
If it is set up as a package, unfortunately there is no way to add CSIs to packages so you might have to continue with the Google doc.
Regarding importing data directly into Tessitura from the Google doc, I would open a ticket with support to see if this is possible.

Hi Carol! Our consulting team also has a little bit of custom code they can apply to your TNEW site to make camp and class registration easier. Parents will be able to select from existing affiliated child records and there are form fields incorporated that got to a custom screen and we provide a roster report to easily get the data out.
