Hi all,
We recently ran a series of free online workshops for 13-20 year olds to support their study for art exams. We set up a custom form so they could indicate if they were under 18 and give a parent's email address to also send information to. This worked well.
One thing that happened which we didn't expect is that despite it being clearly specified as for students studying for GCSE/A Level/BTEC/Foundation a large number of teachers signed up too (therefore taking places from students). Has anyone else experienced similar or found any ways to successfully get people to only book for events they are eligible to attend?
We will be setting up other online events for young people soon and will be definitely making the age wording stronger, but if any tips from the community would be great!
Many thanks
Emma
We have teen students and built a small customization around keywords to restrict ages. It forces the student to be within an age range when registering. We control the ages ranges in system tables and then just assign the applicable age range keywords to each class that needs one.
Thanks for the advice, I'll take a look and see what I can come up with.
