Hi all,
We are currently in the middle of our Recreational Division School registration and I am being asked to track (pace) our daily sales. I need to be able break out sales in both sales revenue and class units, but also isolate these numbers on each registration day. Though I can pull a PT Category report for revenue, units are not clearly defined once exported to CSV or Excel. I have been using the Attendance by Performance report to get unit information, but it is laborious and time consuming to have to extract data from two different and very large reports. Lastly, neither report allows me to access a specific sales date range as far as I can tell. Running the report on the performance date range does not work as it does not illustrate the actual selling date in Tessitura and the figures run cumulatively which each passing day.
Is there any ONE report that can be exported into Excel format which clearly Illustrates both revenue and units once saved in Excel? Can this report be given a specific "sales date range" to be able to isolate these figures day to day?
I could also gather my data from a GL Code perspective if that provides another avenue to solve this.
Thanks,
Karin
Hi Karin,
I would check out the Ticket Sales by Period report. It has parameters for Sale Start and End Dates, as well as parameters to isolate specific groups of performances. The Excel and CSV output lists specific performances row-by-row and includes columns for Ticket Count and Transaction Amount.

Ticket Sales by Period will only show paid tickets. You could look at the Mode of Sale Analysis report to include unpaid orders, but the paid and unpaid sales are grouped together. And of course, T-Stats would be a good option for this kind of reporting.
I created a couple of SQL SSRS reports for our Academy that are similar to what you're looking for. Message me if you're interested and I'll be happy to share them.
