Aligning with Learning Management Systems

The Tech is currently working on scaling our programming online with short videos, resources and courses for educators. In order to effectively deliver content we are looking into Learning Management Systems (LMS) to house all of these items. Ideally, we are looking for a system that will allow us to provide free content and also paid content to users. We'd would also like this system to integrate into Tessitura.

Has anyone tried to align LMS systems with Tessitura?

  • Hi Steven,

Just saw this pop up, we don't use any LMS here at Philharmonia but I have previously seen that a popular LMS Docebo do have multiple API's you can use to embed your content on to your site, I imagine that with some clever cross API trickery you could utilise this to integrate with Tessitura if for instance you wanted to sell courses or videos through Tessitura and allocate authentication tokens for Docebo into a custom table on Tessitura, thereby giving anyone who has paid access through login.

I imagine there must be other providers out there who do API configurations and in fact Youtube have a paid for platform now and their API options are great.

I guess it depends what you want to do and how you want to integrate Tessitura into the mix.
