Is anyone using Tessitura to manage data pertaining to a school or academy that is a part of your organization?
Our Academy is currently tracking applications, registrations, tuition, fees, scholarships, classes, levels/grades, instructors, rooms, pianists (and probably more) in a series of....spreadsheets...and while Tessitura is not a holistic solution, I am hoping we can use it to meet some of their needs while benefiting our marketing and development teams, too.
Any creative uses out there?
I should add that we are on v12.1.

We're using Tessitura and TNEW as the purchase path for our Academy school-year and Summer Program registrations. We use CSIs to track Summer Program registration data that comes in from TNEW, but it is less than ideal and doesn't give us the "if this, then that" functionality we'd like to implement. CSIs also don't allow us to use packages as they're not available there. In the end, our Academy staff still end up tracking tons of data in spreadsheets. However, we do have student names, class history, contact info, and household relationships in Tessitura.
Unfortunately, since we don't have the budget for the Tessitura Education Customization so it's the best we can do right now. I'm happy to chat further if you'd like.

There are a number of organizations using Tessitura to manage education and academy programs. To get started, I highly recommend that you go over to the TLCC2017 Conference Archives - just do a Ctrl+F and search for "Education" and you'll find a number of presentations about how organizations are accomplishing this. You'll also find contact information for people at organizations throughout the community to whom you can reach out for advice.
Beyond that, if you continue searching this forum you'll also find a lot of other thoughts on best practices and other tips and tricks.

The Science Museum of Minnesota uses Tessitura and Resource Scheduling to track registration, fees, and other information for all our onsite and offsite education programs as well as camps, classes and birthday parties. We upgraded to V14 in December 17' and started using Resource Scheduling shortly after and it works well for the unique way as schedule our offsite education programs.
