If you use wait lists for your performances and programs sold through TNEW, I'd love to hear about how you use/manage them.
In one particular case, how do you move tickets from the wait list zone into the GA or active zone? I keep running into the catch-22 of not being able to change zones because the price types are incompatible and not being able to change the price types because the zones are incompatible. Meanwhile, it seems impossible to have a single price type in both zones because then customers can access both wait list and GA zones. This becomes an issue especially if we want things to function as an "application" rather than a wait list, in which we want to control all those who should be moved into the accepted (GA) zone.
Any help would be much appreciated,

Have you considered putting an allocation on the Zone you don't want patrons to access themselves? You could only give access to the allocation to certain user groups so that no one except approved staff can allow patrons into the other zone.
When I worked for the Gilmore Keyboard Festival, we sold Wait List tickets through Tessitura as Paid, Unseated using a special Mode of Sale. If a seat became available, we'd seat the patron and print the ticket. If seats never opened up, we'd refund the patron's money within five days after the concert.

It sounds like what you've done is close to what I am trying to do. Here's my issue - I have a separate MOS for the "waiting list" that's attached to a price type that is not available normally, and it's all attached to the performance that's on sale. We have SYOS enabled for regular web sales, but we want to sell our waiting list orders unseated. I can't find a way to do that. Any advice???
