Any Artifax users out there thinking about making the leap from Artifax to Resource Scheduling in V14? We have a complex setup for our resources in Artifax (including multiple museums and venues as well). We would like to chat with anyone who is thinking of making the switch as we noticed there are some limititations with booking school groups in Tessitura.

We currently use Artifax. I am waiting until we have v14 to propose anything to our team here but I'd like to propose a situation where we use Resource Scheduling to compliment Artifax. I'm not convinced that RS can replace all of the functionality that we use in Artifax at this time but there are definitely intriguing possibilities for enhancing what we currently do in many scenarios. In particular with our Education department (whose programs and offerings are ever expanding and more complex!) but in other areas too. Perhaps internal bookings for spaces like our Board Room or Meeting Room.
That said, we won't know for sure if we'll go down this road until we have v14 and can test our theories in RS.
Would be interested to hear other takes on this as well!

We are considering it, but at the moment are not convinced the RS functionality will be good enough for us, particularly in relation to our invoicing needs. Like you, we have a fairly complex setup for our resources in Artifax - as well as non-specific, outdoor venues. Our plan at the moment is to test the waters when we get to upgrade time (I'm expecting early next year), then do a full assessment once the system has had a chance to bed in.
