Creating Performance Rosters

Hi everyone! I handle class registration for all of our public programs and am struggling to find a convenient way to create rosters for each. Currently, I am manually entering all information into an excel spreadsheet from Tessitura. The only way to collect information we need is via CSI's. There is no simple way to extract this information that we have found. I will add that we do not have any custom forms created, we are working "out-of-the-box". If anyone has other ideas of how to do this, I'm very grateful!

    Melissa, Do you use TNEW? We have classes for our Center for Dance Education and they are purchased like performances through our TNEW page (and set up through Ticketing Setup in Tessitura). As people purchase the classes, they get added to a Class Roster which I believe is a standard report through the system. We still get some information through CSIs as they fill out forms, but the hard registration data is easily reported out from the system. Thank you, Brian

    Or maybe I'm wrong and, on further review, our reports are custom; oops. I can check about us being able to share them your way though!

    Hi Brian! We do use TNEW. I can easily pull household name and number of seats purchased with an existing report, but the form data we collect, like Grade level, T-shirt size, etc. is entered as a CSI. We also need household phone number and email address on the same roster.

    Melissa, Ah, okay; I was a bit off then. I think we might have one report that adds phone number and email but I don't believe we have any that show grade level or anything like that. That said, we are currently working with Tessitura consulting on an enhancement which allows us to create custom form questions which are automatically pulled into the Custom tab of a constituent's record. This enhancement also allows customers to add children to their household record and assign them as recipients of a class purchase. I'd be happy to chat with you about some of the work that's gone in there, but we don't currently have it live as it's still in the testing phase. Thank you, Brian

    Hi Melissa,

     

    With the detail that you are describing, utilizing a custom screen to capture this information, and then a custom report to report on it, would likely be your best option. If you are interested in gathering this information through TNEW, that will, indeed, be a customization.
