Plans for Scholarships?

Hello,

We just upgraded to 12.5 and are thinking we could use plans to track and process our scholarships.  Is anyone currently doing this or have explored this possibility?  If so, I would love to hear how your results and/or how you have implemented for your organization.

Thanks!

  • Thank you Alex.  When is the session at TLCC and what is it called?  I will be attending and want to make sure I don’t miss this session.

    Hi Karen,

You are absolutely right, you can use plans to track scholarships! Plans can be of help when tracking any process and many organizations are discovering that this is useful for Education programs.  We do not have any formal training for setting up plans for things like scholarships, yet. However, there is a session at TLCC this year that will focus specifically on setting up plans in Education and Community Engagement departments. There is also some good general documentation on plans in the Documentation & Help System

There are several organizations using plans for tracking various things within Education, and I will leave them to explain more fully what they are doing. This is an area we would love to see more organizations explore.

I look forward to hearing about your successes with plans, and please do reach out if we can be of help as you set this up.
