I've been tasked with researching what the Education/Academic Program Retention Standards are for other Organizations similar (or even semi-similar) to ours.
Theatre
We are a non-profit Children's Theatre and Education Organization located a couple of miles from Washington D.C. We have two theatres: a Main Stage Theatre for our Primary Season Shows (geared for Ages 5-18) and a Secondary Theatre for our Young Children's Shows (geared for Ages 5 and under).
Education
We have Fall, Winter/Spring and Summer Semesters with approximately 125 unique Classes or Camps for EACH Semester. Additionally we have Winter Break Camp and Spring Break Camp Sessions. These Classes or Camps range in Age from 12 Months to 18 Years of Age.
Therefore we are researching what the Education Retention Standards are for other Organizations similar to ours.
For Example: Looking at your Educational Programming do you consider a 50% Return Student Rate (either Fiscal Year to Fiscal Year or Semester to Semester) a success and anything lower is not? 25%? 75? Or what are your Organizations Standards for Education Retention?
Any information that anyone is willing to offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
