Hello,
I am new to my department and it seems that there is no format built specifically to track our Education weekly sales. In Reports and Utilities there are various types of forms of analysis. I have not found one that is ideal for what I submit to our Senior Staff; the report would be broken down by Season- Performance- Performance Date & Time, include the number of seats sold, the total amount paid with the order number present, the number of seats with pending payment, and all of the comps (with both pending and completed orders separately). The closest I've come to this is the Performance Sales Summary but it is lacking and I have found the numbers it pulls to be incorrect on occasion. Any suggestions? Is there a way to custom design one of these?
I'm also stumped as to why the number of seats are sometimes incorrect. Perhaps it is operator error but I have repeatedly combed through order by order and have found everything to be entered into the system correctly. I'm not sure why the Performance Sales Summary then omits seats. Please, help!
Hi Mary – Welcome to the wonderful world of Tessitura for Education! Do you have access to T-stats? If so, I’ve found that it’s very easy to create reports for senior staff on the fly in T-stats, and much of what you are looking for would be right there. Otherwise you may have to work with your internal IT/database staff to design a report that gives you what you need. Unfortunately I don’t have thoughts on why the Performance Sales Summary has seemingly incorrect data… although I feel like I remember learning that that particular report uses price type categories in a way that I wouldn’t have expected. Hopefully that at least helps point you in the right direction! Best, -p.
